Awesome news! Also great that the bass didn't suffer any damage. Get yourself a nice new SKB case for that bad boy. And don't write off the Ampeg just yet - maybe it's salvageable!

I can just picture Jake in bed, bass by his side. Like Ralphie at the end of Christmas Story with his Red Rider BB gun…….

This is indeed great news – congratulations!

Jake – I even take my bass (in case) into the bathroom with me at after gig parties; if there is no one there whom I trust with it. I do get some looks, but hey who cares.

So do you know if anyone is getting prosecuted?

They told me good luck on finding out who stole it, Kind of weird if you ask me. I'm guessing they didnt check the guys ID at the pawn shop? I don't know, but geez.. . I even called and asked them MULTIPLE TIMES if they had any Rickenbackers and checked their Inventory online. The only response I got was "Well sir we have lots of guitars coming in so your just gonna have to come down"....

..There's 36 different locations around the sound you Idiot!!! lol

Proof!

+3! So glad you have it back, Jake! :D

P.S. A local luggage shop might be able to replace the broken latch hardware on the case.

Jake, don't write off the Ampeg. I just looked back at the picture and it is not that bad. If I'm close enough, I would take a look at it for you. SW Michigan.

Hang in there. Good luck finding some more work. Tell your employers you want to be on the front end of the return list once they get the funds to pay you again...
