People have been asking me to record clips of the "bridge Toaster" on my fretless and I finally have, using a stereo input. I recorded two files of equal size (1.6 MB) that were converted from stereo to mono after being cloned from an original split-pickup stereo source and panned either right or left to isolate the bridge and neck Toasters. Now I just need to share the files somehow, besides Myspace because that just seems goofy. Does anyone have any good ideas?
The two files are taken from the exact same performance, it's just each pickup is isolated and converted mono... the first bit is me playing random walking bass with some drums, then it's a small bit from Portrait of Tracy by Jaco. I think the two samples are really illustrative of the difference. The Jaco bit features the in-line cap for the treble pickup.
