That shirt was a gift from a good friend of mine. It has Pete Trewavas's 4080/12 on it and brought me loads of good luck this weekend. Wore it to poker night at the clubhouse and played poker for the first time ever, and won 3rd place in a 10-man Texas Hold Them tournament, so I got my money back! Then I went 2 for 2 at the pool table. Got confirmation that my band is shooting our first music video at a local TV station this month, so we'll get to use the same cameras, lights, producer, director, and camera crew you see on TV! Got a huge order for Surefin this weekend and got started on it, the weather is cooperating for painting today, I only had to work a couple hours at the office yesterday, hopefully only a couple hours today. I'm probably jinxing myself now, but I had to get a picture of me last night before I passed out!

Now watch me spontaneously combust or something else unlucky.

Nah, I think it's my jinxing that's to blame.

Nice comb, dude. Wonder what Bowie snorted off that guitar?

HEY! Why didn't they ever make a 4080/12 with a converter on the guitar side? They're sittin' on a goldmine!

Don't tempt me ... I have thought of having a 12-string neck made for the 4080, and possibly adding a comb. But I don't really want to break the finish at the neck joint, so I haven't. Plus, I don't want to add all the necessary holes in the top. But I still think about it. Maybe if I find a beater 4080... not likely!

Make the bass side an eight string with converter comb, too , while you're at it ... four instruments in one! :D

May i ask a small question about the comb? How fast can you change from 6/12? Is it a instant flick and thats it? Great photo Jason.

Thanks thanks... I got my OO out for that one!

It's taken a little getting used to, but I can change in about 20 seconds. I've learned it's easier to lift the comb halfway, and push each string under the hooks, which are notched kind of like saddles are. I'm having lots of fun with 7 to 11 string combinations too. Now I don't need no MccGuinn acoustic 7!
