Sorry to hear about the layoff. But at least, like you said you will have some quality time with your Rick.

I got laid-off last Dec. Yes, last Dec.
Today I had an interview for a job that has taken me three weeks to arrange, and I still dont have an answer as to wether I have a job yet. But, the bills still come in.
And then today I get a call from my mom telling me that my sister had a stroke last night.

Life sometimes sucks.

Congratulations Jake,

You are a VERY lucky man. You can ALWAYS find another job, replacing the love of your life....NOT SO EASY! 8)

Seriously, sorry about the job, but it's GREAT to see the GOOD GUYS WIN ONE!

And I too take my RIC E V E R Y W H E R E with me, even if I have to stop off and get milk, in the shipping cart she goes!
I always get some wise guy check out person who says "ah cool, are we selling guitars here not too"? LOL

Haha ya life goes on dudes, but atleast I got my baby back! Thats what's important.

To be honest its kinda a relief to get laid off cuz the people I work with and that are in charge are IDIOTS!
But Aren't they all lol

These days, it seems all the guys in charge are idiots...

Good luck with the job hunting...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Sorry to hear about the job, Jake. Unfortunately, unless you're in charge, they will always be idiots. I know exactly what you mean. I have to tell my boss what to tell me to do. How frustrating is that? Can't complain though, I know. anyway... pm sent.

nextcliffburton wrote:They told me good luck on finding out who stole it, Kind of weird if you ask me. I'm guessing they didnt check the guys ID at the pawn shop? I don't know, but geez.. . I even called and asked them MULTIPLE TIMES if they had any Rickenbackers and checked their Inventory online. The only response I got was "Well sir we have lots of guitars coming in so your just gonna have to come down"....

..There's 36 different locations around the sound you Idiot!!! lol

Proof!

Lonnie, I'm sorry to hear that, but... try posting in the FOR SALE SECTION, instead of in an old thread about someone else's bass getting stolen.
