Pickguard material?

Post by Tarrbot »

I'm wanting to play around with some design concepts on my pickguard and was wondering what type of material is used or what is a good replacement type of material.

What experiences do people have with this type of thing?

Material suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Standard Rick guards are made from 1/8" plexi.

Ya know? Sometimes it helps to just think before posting.

Anatomy of a Rickenbacker Bass Part 8 (The Plastic Bits) was what I really needed.

Thanks, Ron.

I had forgotten about PickGuardian, though.
