A '78 4001 is the GOTM in the September issue of Premier Guitar magazine. :D

Anybody here own it?

I own one....but it's backwards. And, as far as I know......nobody has broken into my place to photograph it :D :D :D

Sorry Jeff, I only have a '74... not a '78. But I'm sure someone around here does. Until then you may want to read about it in Guitar Of The Month... :lol: :lol: :lol:

Guys, I went diggin' around Premier Guitar Magazine's site, and found the bass in the back issues page! Click on the September 2009, an on-line version pops out! Go to Page 12, 20, 189 and see the good stuffs.
By the way, the issue contains a lot of bass stuffs for your reading pleasure!

Non-original black pickguard with a broken tip and incorrect knob layout, missing handrest, bridge mute and thumb screws, modified TRC and drilled headstock to accept larger tuners...
