"Shoot 'Em Up Baby" with picture sleeve for £3.50 or £7.99. Somebody is getting a bargain! (unless Europe is flooded with them!).

Tim I am surprised at times what Searchers stuff goes for it is inconsistent, I recntly decided to offload some of my vinyl stuff( will probably regret later)I did have some excellent sales on some items but some Ithought would fetch a good price, all the RCA stuff, did not sell at all, even the Sire singles bar one did not sell. I bought shoot 'em up for £7.99 from a German guy but quality of disc was not brilliant so I resold but only got what I paid for it, yet is one of the Searchers rarest singles. I suppose the real rare single has to be the Pasha one, I never knew about it till Mike Pender told me in 1980, the guy with me that night found a copy for 10p a week later, just my luck.

Roy, I know someone who got a copy of the 'Passha' single for about 10p or so. Mine cost me a lot more than that and that was 20 years ago.

I'm more likely to go on Ebay to try and get The Searchers' German language Picture Sleeve singles! (and the French "La Nuit N'en Finit Plus" picture sleeve single.)

I don't know what the literal translation is (my schoolboy French gives me something like 'the night isn't over yet'), but that was the French title for "Needles And Pins" (just as the German was "Tausend Nadelstiche" - a thousand needle pricks!)

i'd rather it's something like "the night never ends" although i'm not sure (it'd rather be "la nuit n'en finit jamais"?); the only thing i can't understand is why "aiguilles et epingles" wasn't 'appropriate'...
