It always made me cry, too. And to add insult to injury, my Dad just laughed. Heckuva thing to do to an 8 year old kid.

Though I liked PP&M very much and thought Mary Travers was the hottest chick in folk music, I'd like to add that PP&M (for those that don't know) were sort of The Monkees of the folk set.

They were a creation of Albert Grossman. A devised plan by the evil genius to cash in on the folk craze.

Grossman tried to enlist others in his creation (Bob Gibson among them) until he eventually wound up with Peter, Noel and Mary.
