Time of the Season
I've been out of action lately, stuck at work 24/7. But I finally managed to squeeze in a cover version of this Zombies classic, with help on the organ from my online pal Norm Peterson.
Any ideas or suggestions are very welcome!

Great cover. How did you get the guy from the TV show Cheers to play organ?
Ka is a wheel.

Thanks Doug!

Excellent vocals, Colin Blunstone's singing is challenging.
So long and thanks for all the fish!

Yep, when we first learned this one I was a bit concerned with doing the lead vocals justice, not to mention playing the cool bass part at the same time, but it was no problem and is a real crowd favorite.gibsonlp wrote:Excellent vocals, Colin Blunstone's singing is challenging.

Thanks Gil and Ronn! The challenge depends on where your falsetto can break...in my case, this song works fine for me..I change from real voice to falsetto on the word "loving". But then again, I brought the song down a half step to Eflat because I found myself struggling in E. Sometimes half a step makes all the difference.iamthebassman wrote:Yep, when we first learned this one I was a bit concerned with doing the lead vocals justice, not to mention playing the cool bass part at the same time, but it was no problem and is a real crowd favorite.gibsonlp wrote:Excellent vocals, Colin Blunstone's singing is challenging.

The usual top-notch performance, Mark. Nice job reproducing the production style, too. And Normie does a great job on those keys!
