There were several made and shipped in August '09. I don't know the total producton run, but I bought one after learning it was available from a fellow forumite. It seems a LOT were shipped, so either they all went to standing orders or already sold out.stringsncords wrote:Wellll..... there was supposed to be another large shipment at the end of July/beginning of August.

Best thing is to look at recent shipments and start calling those dealers

Ben Hall did hint that another shipment of C63s might be shipping before winter.
Ka is a wheel.

Yep. There´s a difference at least on mine:beatlefreak wrote:Thanks for asking, Jerry. It plays and sounds great. I took it to practice with my band last night (first time we've been able to get together since I got it), and used it on everything. It gets some really nice overtones when overdriven, and chimes like a bell when played clean.
Like you, I adjusted the action, and now it's real easy to play - both open chords and barres. The one observation that surprised me (I'm not sure if anyone else has reported this) is that it has one short pole toaster and one long pole. I haven't measured the pickups yet to see if there's any difference in the resistance readings.
Neck. Short pole flatback: 3.7 k ohm
Bridge. Long pole 7 k ohm.
I wonder why the difference in ohmage

Wowza; I didn't know RIC had gone to the extent of installing one short pole and one long pole toaster in the C63. How does that neck toaster sound? I would think that 3.7K would be too thin sounding, even for a neck toaster.nic37 wrote:Yep. There´s a difference at least on mine:beatlefreak wrote:Thanks for asking, Jerry. The neck Flatback Toaster pickup sounds weak in comparison to the bridge pickup. But shouldnt both be 7 Kohms?paologregorio wrote:Wowza; I didn't know RIC had gone to the extent of installing one short pole and one long pole toaster in the C63. How does that neck toaster sound? Re: 360/12C63's are Shipping!
I can confirm that my 360/12C63 is the same way. Short pole toaster in the neck position measures 3.14kΩ. Long pole toaster on the bridge position measures 7.1kΩ.

Got mine will post pictures as soon as I get my camera batterys charged. Go back to beetlefreeks pictures this post check out the picture of the headstock. Note that the tunner buschings are hex shaped. Mine are round and dont appear right. Spoke to ric and my dealer problem solved shipping 6 hex buschings as soon as they get them in stock. It appers that 4 guitars where built with the round buschings Ric must have run out of the hex buschings. I Set my guitar up in the store when I was done played some byrds stuff some who stuff and 6 other guys played it they went nuts a lot of congratulations. No matter how long you wait its worth the wait. You will be rewarded great action great tone light weight beautiful fireglow finish pics to follow.

Paul A In reference to your question on ordering a black one, you have to tell the dealer you want that color then he puts the order in. Most will be made in fireglow as the standard color. The black color is used only if rick desides that the wood is not good enough quality for the fireglow.I myself didnt think they came in black until I saw one one music zoos sight new. Then i knew that there where 2 color choices.

So let me ask....the tuner shaft bushings are supposed to be 6 point hex? My guitar has round bushings. Not correct?stringman wrote:Got mine will post pictures as soon as I get my camera batterys charged. Go back to beetlefreeks pictures this post check out the picture of the headstock. Evidently, yes, on the tuner bushings; they're supposed to be hex. If you contact your Rick Dealer they'll take care of it. Personally, I'd rather have the round bushings myself-no sharp edges to scrape a knuckle on while you're changing your strings.
Re: 360/12C63's are Shipping!
Yes these guitars are built to the older specks and the hex tunner buschings are correct. Here is a picture of beatlefreeks guitar note the headstock picture.Make shure you left click the mouse to blow up the picture so you can see it.Rick will correct the problem but talk with your dealer about the problem first and he will call rick and they will send the correct buschings.
