Okay, so here's a little story for you all...In February of this year, a guitar of mine was no more, a 1998 model 1997. I loved that guitar, but needed a replacement after the accident.

I haven't been active on this forum in the past year or so, so I don't recall what happened to your other guitar. It is funny how something as simple as a middle pick-up can really throw someone off. I grew up playing a telecaster with a bridge that was very comfortable to rest my hand on when picking. Just about any other guitar I have doesn't have this style of bridge and I miss my hand rest. Little details like that make really nice guitars into non-players.
