Not sure. The two 4 x 12 cabs I sold in the estate of my friend were both 16Ω when in mono. The one cab would switch to stereo and it was 2 x 8Ω.

I was given one of these for Christmas, and, overall, I've been pleased with it. In the Bright mode at 15 watts, it sounds really good with a Ric 12 and the Janglebox. More Jangly than our Valvetronix. It's got a really good rock sound in Triode mode with the switch on "Thick". Last night, I got a really good Robben Ford-like sound with our Ric 355JL on the bridge pickup, the switch on "Thick", and the amp in Pentode mode. I took it to a jam session today, and it was loud enough to be heard over the whole band in Triode mode.

My only gripe about the amp is that it isn't super pedal-friendly. Our Janglebox works great, and my fuzz pedals are okay, but it really hates my Fulltone OCD. Today, the singer in our band, who has used an OCD before, messed around with it trying to get a good sound. Eventually he gave up and used it with his amp.

We haven't recorded with it yet. Updates on that later...

Anyway, I think it's the best Vox-style amp in its price range (around $700 for the head and cab). Highly recommended for anyone who wants an AC30/AC15 sound with a touch of Marshall for under $1000.

I've got one with matching cab. I love it. Its loud and clean, but not too loud and clean. I use it in my lower volume gigs and it has no problem getting over my loud drummer. Super vox goodness.. Sounds great with my Ricks as well as my P90 SG and my Franz Coil 50's Guilds
