So the V63 wasn't used in the vid because you needed to find a plug to sell the 4003? Or has the V63 went off for refinishing?

Anyway, nice job, and cool version of "Rain".

No, I play both of them. They have different feels and sounds (duh) so I like to mix it up. The 4003 has been my backup bass for the last 6 months, hence how clean it is. It hasn't left the house but is played.

Because I shoot with a digital SLR everyday. A big SLR that makes shutter flaps and requires a larger lens is pretty un-discreet for street photography. RFs are smaller, quieter, lighter, easier to focus quickly. Digital has it's place, but for artful photography I like doing everything manual and getting back to basics.

I'm an old Leica user but haven't shot much with mine for the last several years . I still hang on to them though ... I still have six of them . Three old screwmount models with visos and bellows and close-up attachments and three M cameras . A beautiful old M3 and two M6s . I also have the M viso and bellows . And a wonderful old 1C focomat enlarger .

The 35 asph Summicron is worth the difference . It's a gorgeous lense with a M6 .

I really do envy those of you who can do McCartney's bass lines so well. I am just getting into learning a lot of them and these videos are great. I envy the people even more who can WRITE these fantastic melodic lines. So much still to learn...

From playing Paul basslines over the years, I can't help but be melodic on most of my original material as well.
