Best place to get .0047 uF caps
Maybe this was covered before, but where is the best place to get the .0047 uF caps? Ric charges $5 apiece...

Antique Electronic Supply in Tempe, AZ sells them by a number of different manufacturers; they also have a lot of other items of interest to guitarists.

You're only talking millivolts in a guitar also, so you don't need a high voltage rating. I've used the Xicon polyester caps that Mouser sells that are less than $1 each....probably more like $.20 each but I don't feel like looking right now. Any good quality film cap will be just fine.....polyester, polypropylene, silver mica, polystyrene. This would include Orange Drops ( 715P and 716P are polypropylene, 6PS and 225P are polyester), Mallory 150, Sozo, generic polyester and generic polypropylene that AES sells, Xicon.......and again, the amps need the 600v rated caps, but the guitars don't, so save some money and get a lower voltage cap. It will be smaller and cheaper and still sound fine as long as you avoid ceramic.
