2010 Calendar

Post by lyric_girl »

I was wondering if there will be a calendar for next year available?

Thanks,

Nah, that won't be until the 2013 calendar is due...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

How about, "Thomas Kincade, Painter of Rickenbacker Light Shows"?

Seriously, though, I usually ask for submissions sometime in late October/early November.

You can send me large (2MB or bigger) .jpg files. This year we're going to mix things up a bit and ask for really excellent pics of Ricks and their owners. So far, the only real people ever shown on a RRF calendar were Dale Fortune in 2006, when I featured Dale and one of his projects, and Gareth Holder last year, who sent in such a sexy photo that I thought it would bump up female purchases a bit. (I was wrong...)

Horizontal (landscape) format is preferred; I hate to crop for this as it often kills proportions.

So, although I'll announce once again in a few weeks, consider this early warning. Deadline this year will be December 1, and the calendars will be available on the 5th or so for Christmas giving.
