I'm saving the gold stuff for something else.......
Interesting. Ordered, negotiating or just letching?

Nah. Mr CW has enquired on the 'bay about shipping for the 340 autumglo, so there's no point even looking at that one any more.
The 330 BG was very nice, but went for far too much money at £1420.

On a completely different note, because of the latest price increases, my local guitar shop that used to deal in Rics have stopped doing them as they (and allegedly most of their customers) feel they are not worth the amount of money they would have to sell them for.
Though I would guess that any shop that slaps a £2499 price tag on a 360/12 is going to be looking at that guitar sit in the shop for a long time.

I totally agree about the UK prices Rob i certainly grinded my teeth before paying the price for the 330.Incidentally the guy that sold the BG for £20 more than i offered initially was offered far more.Shame the mysterious first offer frizzled out  .I would also like to add that the guitar(my 330) came from London as you know but i wasnt prepared to pay the price in Scotland that was tagged with a Standard 330.The truth is out there then again so are the deals. The trouble is Ebay is a dangerous place to shop not all that glitters is gold.Mark the 340 is a nice one but i like you like em shiny and that one came with a couple a dings and looked like it had been on the sunbed a tad too long.

Ding dong is not always Pete Tong Scotty. I can't afford the brand new and shiny anymore, so the dings are in!

I've actually had nothing but good deals from Rickenbackers on eBay, just lucky on that score I guess.
