Filling a chip on 330 JG

Post by phil2 »

Hello Paul and everyone,

May I have some advice please?

After being led astray by a Stratocaster I sold my 330 JG as I wasn't playing it anymore and of course I regretted it straight away...
Luckily I found a second-hand 1989 330 JG which is lovely except there is quite a big chip about 1 cm square above the top horn.
Is black nail polish a good quick fix? Also will I need any glass paper to sand it down and if so, what gauge should I use?

Thanks for your help.

(It goes without saying that I have learned my lesson and will be holding on to this one!)

If you do a search on "repairing a chip" here, you'll find scads of tips and discussion. :)
