Happy birthday, Ryan!
Re: Happy B'Day Ryan!
Thanks everybody! My parents are coming up to babysit so my wife and I can go out to eat. That'll be nice.
I still haven't gotten completely used to the 4004 yet, Tony. The neck is a bit wide, but I think I'm starting to get used to it. It's really only "bad" up past the 7th fret or so. I don't have much problem on the low end, but I have short lazy fingers and they don't want to stretch too much. I haven't given up yet!
In fact, I think I'll play a few bars on it before I go eat.

Basses don't need anything past the 7th fret!
Have a great birthday dinner!

I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Great to hear from your Rayn...Yeah, it took some time for me as well, but I'm glad I didn't give up on it.
I'm not sure why the profile is so different than the 4003 or C64 series, but they seem to be catching on.
The "S" body, the light weight, the simplicity...just a sweet player.
Hope you had a great day!
