New "music room"

Yeah, P38's, really cool planes! I got to walk all around one and then see it fly a few years back at the Reno Air Races!

Of course, there are lots of P51's there too, also awesome planes..

Awesome basement.

Here's the "other" room in the basement for the other third of my life. (The first third of my life is reserved for my wife!) I've been building model airplanes (the plastic kind) since I was five. I do it professionally now, and am retired Senior Editor of FineScale Modeler magazine. I still build for the magazine, myself, and three or four "sugar daddies" who help finance the bass collection.

I spy a 707 done up in Air Force One livery among others. Any other airliners you have?

No. We should have, but frankly we were embarrassed by its condition. With all the shelf units holding stuff, you couldn't even see the "room."
