Yes, that's absolutely true. You have a 3-piece top. Nice-looking finish too. Need some chrome tops for those knobs...

Re: Toaster Ohm Readings
You it's funny I actually prefer the lighter more yellowy firglow of the later models.
But hell I can't complain.. my 68 has it. I used to think that lighter FG finish was older. I guess the 50's ones were lighter and did they darken in the mid 60's then lighten up again after? I seem to remember Capris having a lighter more yelloish FG also.
The FG finish on my 12 kind of reminds me of new ricks where there is not much yellow
.. Except for the new amber Fireglow that is recent that I just love on the new ones.

They lightened and darkened almost yearly.
early 60s---very light, orangish
'63-'65--darker around the edges
'66-67 - much lighter, brighter edges
'68+ -- back to darker again.
Of course, the finishes all looked different when they were new, but the actual fireglo shade varied all the time.

THIS is my favorite flavor of FG, which I just bought off of the Bay

This is my 97 360 12 V64. a little to whiteish for me. Definitely more of an Amber middle guy
