Australian newcomers The Temper Trap have confirmed details of their biggest UK tour to date.

Giving up their homes, their family and their lives in their homeland, Australian newcomers The Temper Trap took the ambitious step of relocating to Britain.

Sharing small flat in London, the four piece began working hard. Cult heroes in their native Australia the band were completely unknown in the UK, and soon began playing almost every show they could.

Releasing their self-titled debut album earlier this year, the band have enjoyed slow burning success. The Temper Trap's soaring vocals and epic songwriting make them ideal for the live environment, with the band taking the festival season by storm.

The track 'Sweet Disposition' was used on the hit film '(500) Days Of Summer)' and led to many new fans discovering The Temper Trap. Through word of mouth, the single began to creep up the charts.

Debuting in the lower reaches of the chart, the single soon began moving upwards eventually peaking at number six. Still making waves, 'Sweet Disposition' is one of the year's most talked about tracks.

Now The Temper Trap are set to finish 2009 with a series of tour dates. Playing two nights at London's Sheperds Bush Empire the band have added more and more shows, including some of their biggest venues to date.Cant wait to see em in glasgow all i need to remember to do is buy the tickets.
