LIGHT SHOW IN ACTION!

Post by jingle_jangle »

Here's a video of Bob Spector leading the Brittany Shane Band, with Britt on lead vocals, playing at SF's famed Make-Out Room last Sunday night, and playing one of my LS conversions in JG:

The song is "Over Your Shoulder"; they often play it as their finale. Britt goes on tour beginning this week, 90 dates, in support of her new album, "Have Heart Live Young". Britt's music will also be featured on the new season of A&Es "Parking Wars".

Sweet! Great closeups of one in action.

Sorry to bounce o/t for a sec, but any idea what acoustic she's using? Looks really cool!

That's a limited edition Martin black and white. They only made something like 200 of them.

Cool guitar, I'd love to get my hands on a Light Show.
Cool tune, too.
Kind of reminds me of the Catherine Wheel.

Sure, Eden. The project has taken longer than we anticipated, but the final electronics are finally finished and debugged, and the first evaluation samples are going to Waterstone within days. Then China production will begin.

The Waterstones are entirely self-contained with no stomp box. Power is from a 9V battery and the signal is taken directly from the pickups. Each guitar or bass comes complete with HSC.

More info as soon as they become available to retail customers.

Thanks for that Paul, I have not wanted to pester Bob Singer about them, I figured it was just one of those things.
The thing is I can't chose between the guitar or the bass version....

Is it one of these - a Martin HDN 'Negative' from 2003?

That's it, David...I knew I'd seen one for sale recently, but couldn't lay hands on the link. Only 135 made, too...rarer than I thought. Britt's got a sound hole filler in it and mostly strums chords with a capo for key changes.

Lookin good, Paul!

Britt reminds me of Tina Fey, for some odd reason... great tune though!

I'm also interested in the Waterstone LS guitars, when they come out, I'll have to check one out!

No great prescience here - I only knew about it because of a strangely coincidental discussion on the Acoustic Guitar Forum:

Amazing the emotions a simple guitar can evoke :)

Just curious if there's any news on these as I'd hate to waste money on silly things like food and clothes for my son, when he'd prefer one of the guitar or basses.
