Scotty we save the good maple for cabinets, I don't think I would have the heart to chop on any wood with that much character. But you never know a flamed chopping block may be in my future at some point.

Here's some updated pics. It's an 86 4003s/5 I picked up from GC for *cheep*. I've had to replace the truss rods, but other than the previous owner adding a thumbrest it's in immaculate condition. It was also Miss January in the 2008 RickResource calendar.
