His chord progressions always have some unexpected turn. Not a bad song, there!

Thanks, Brian. I like it. Nice photo montage, too. He still knows how to get me going.

Apart from the fact that it's a good song and I like it, he is showing the world three things in that song.

(1) he has suffered immense emotional pain, (2) he has become a bit fragile as a result and (3) he has some regrets in life. All very understandable of course.

I like that he has a little "gray hair" in his voice.

Yea, he's getting on a bit, but still does it for me. Mark

Is this from a new album? I think it is the best song he's written since Flaming Pie (your opinion may vary, of course :) ) He has some good bass bits in there, too. Very tasteful and expressive.

Way down in the YouTube comments it states:

It's from the movie "Everybody's Fine". It comes out in late November 09 starring Robert DeNiro.

I can't confirm or deny.

This is a feel-good movie about an old guy who brings together the family that he raised who don't talk to each other, who are scattered across the USA. Greyhound buses feature vividly.
