fireglow vs. fireglo

Post by casinoman »

I don't know if this has been discussed before: flipping through the gallery pages of the official Rickenbacker homepage, I noticed that for the 60's the color designation used is "fireglow" instead of "fireglo". I always thought that it all started with "fireglo" and never changed. Is that just a mistake at Rickenbacker?

I thought glo was short for gloss. Maybe they were being more artful in the sixties.
