Read the labels of some of the packaged processed meats (e.g. bologna, hot dogs, "potted meat product", etc.) ... you may find tripe listed as an ingredient.

Does eating tripe increase one's intestinal fortitude?

Well, as a kid, it was VILE! Tasted like RUBBER to me. My brother's LOVED it, so I gave them mine, and I was lucky enough to score something else.
Reminds me of, well.........nevermind!

A guy at TalkBass just said something like, "Wouldn't it be great if Gibson owned RIC????" I did a triple spit-take.

My grandma tried to get me interested in a tripe stew when I was a kid. I took one taste and hid under the table.

Guess I just didn't have the stomach for it.

Grandma used to make it with milk, and salt, and pepper. Yum!

Now, calamari sashimi--that's my dish. (No kidding).

Tasty little suckers.

We had calamari for appetizer at dinner before the Jean Luc Ponty show. Night Town's is great. :)
