Gold does look great with FireGlo!
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

I suppose it could've come from a 660/12, can't think of any other newish 12'ers that would have come with a gold TRC.

I ordered this gold truss from Rickenbacker in the 90's. Actually it was alot larger before and what you are seeing is a cut down one. I am not sure what guitar it was for originally. Luckily when I put my White truss on top of it it it had just enough room to cut off the excess 3rd hole and make it exactly the same shape as my white truss.

I traced it out with black wax pen and then had my luthier cut or sand it down the the exact same shape as my white one.

I cannot belive it worked, I had just enough room around that 3rd upper hole to cut it off it was about right where the point/tip of this one is.
I love gold guards and I love Rickenbacker. Luckily I am not a forger so my xtra truss will only be for me. JH would aprove!
