Odd 4001c64s

Post by oler »

Hi.

This 4001C64S has a satin finish, the TRC is backwards. I've never seen that on a c64s. Can anyone here shed some light?
Sorry if this has been debated earlier..

Cheers

Ole, I had to edit your post. The rules clearly state that there is no linking to any forums outside of the RRF allowed.
Just use descriptions of the 4001C64S and maybe pictures with the owners consent, thanks!
The satin finish on finishes other than natural on the C64S is fairly new at RIC.
However, I hadn't seen the reversed TRC until now.

I'm so sorry about that. Thanks, rickenbrother...

Anyway, here's a pic of the bass in question:

No worries, Ole. Thanks for understanding.

The picture shows it has a Pickguardian bridge pickup surround. Are you sure the owner didn't swap the out the original TRC as well?

RIC put some of these out recently. IIRC there were some satin finished JG 4003s as well.

Olivia's has two satin finished 4001C64S's (Midnight Blue and Jetglo) and they look gorgeous!! So if you want to see close ups pop over to their website...Olivia's always seem to take gas-inducing photos!

Yes, I'm positive. Strange, isn't it?
