Siberian Khatru as covered by Hatune Kiku

Post by walker »

OK. This will be my last Yes video offering for awhile, I swear. This is a very odd cover of SK as "performed by" Japanimae icon Hatune Miku, accompanied by the Vocaloid software created by Yamaha, in which you can create vocal melodies merely by typing in words and melody. And as you might guess, it's sung in Japanese.

The music is also synthesized, I'm guessing the very Strat sounding guitar as well. The synth bass sounds NOTHING like a Rick, even though I've heard other synth patches that at least sound twangy.

The video is really nothing to look at; it's merely a vehicle to demo the music.

Rated 'B' for bizarre.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Very mechanical ... very robotic. Strange but neat at the same time....

BTW - you can keep posting vids as far as I'm concern. I enjoy them.

I agree, please post all the video links you can find, I enjoy watching them all. This version of SK sounds like it would have been if recorded in the 80's with Trevor Rabin...
