"Official" Recession is One Year Old

Not sure if this is "news" but the Associated Press reported today, December 1, 2009 that:

"One Year Ago: The National Bureau of Economic Research officially declared the U.S. to be in a Recession; the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 679 points to end a five day win streak."


As if most of us didn't know it from that empty feeling in the wallet....

It just occurred to me...is that the sound we hear in the bridge of "Yellow Submarine" that I previously thought was Ringo coughing up a whole hard-boiled egg?

I heard that they install their toilets on the ceiling to compensate for that effect.
