1973 4001 Sunburst, Fretless, CB etc...

Post by Haldron »

I would like to present this beautiful sunburst *** thumping 1973 FR CB to the forum for its perambulation and other derivatives of estimation. History:Custom ordered all bells and whistles purchased in 1973 to replace an ampeg bass (I know quite possibly a mistake, maybe enormous). Played in old high school band for almost 3-4 times during college heyday. Relegated to the case in 1975, the one under the bed. Sometime in 1990's was played on a couple of recordings at home until replaced by a Yamaha SY77 ( that thing still kicks ***). There is a nick but thats it otherwise its really well kept. What do you think?

Welcome to the forum, Bob. We would all love to see your bass, but there are no pictures posted.

If you are trying to figure out how to upload a picture, go to where it says "Upload attachment" under the Review and Submit buttons. Then find the folder in your computer where the picture you want to post is and then select it.
You can also put your pictures on the image hosting site such as Photobucket and paste the links into your posts.

If you are having trouble posting pictures, I'll gladly post them for you. Just email them to me.

By the way, the words you typed that are starred out, will always be starred out.

What do I think? I think it is a beautifully aged FG that is in really great condition! Great bass you have.
