Steve Howe and Rose Morris 1993

Post by collin »

Wow-----checking out this incredibly lame video about Steve's guitar collection, and he pulls out a minty '64 RM1993 and starts strumming!

shown at 1:10 and then again at 2:15

Apparently, Bjorn details it on his site ( http://www.rickbeat.com/photofeatures/s ... vehowe.htm ) but it's cool to see it in action. What a stunner.

The only time you'll hear Steve Howe and Imelda Marcos in the same sentence.

That 12 string sure sounded good even acoustically.

Great find. I'll have to look for more of those Cutting Edge videos with Peter Zaramba. That show promoted many Rickenbacker artists in the early 80's.

Gee, I guess it is true. The first thing everybody plays when they pick up a Ric 12 is Mr. Tambourine Man. Even Steve Howe!

I met Pete when we opened for their band in the 80's in Oklahoma City. Great guy - fun band, too. 8)
