Hey Brian, have a great birthday!

Moving huh? Moving is never fun even if it's to a place you really want. It's just plain work! Anyway, I hope your new place is great!

Thanks guys!

The moving prep has been heinous......so many phone calls, mountains of paperwork and scheduling nightmares. Along with finishing up a few repairs on our current home. All while working my normal multiple jobs (which I am thankful for especially in the current economy).

I recently got the thrill of shopping for a new tractor......way more expensive than I guessed for something adequate for dealing with the new property. I believe the house and getting to hang on to the LK and GN are enough of a birthday and Christmas gift for the next few years.

Wow, a lot of birthdays in December. Happy Birthday, Brian.

Nothing that exciting for the true land owners on here. We got a John Deere 2305 (4wd compact tractor with 24hp 3 cylinder diesel.....ordered with front end loader and 62" cutting deck). I'll also be getting a 9" auger setup to run off of the rear pto.

We "only" have 5.25 acres and once we get the barn built and pastures fenced we'll have less to deal with as far as cutting but more tractor type work. The 2305 seems just about right for our needs.

Jared will be disappointed that I didn't opt for the Kubota.

Hey, those little tractors are perfect for smaller places. That one's not too much different than the one I got my wife a while back for cleaning around the horse pens. We called it the "Jane Deere"
