Before I try my luck with Ebay I want to offer a few things to my extended music family here at the RRF. They can be found in the 'Second Strum' forum. I feel cheap just mentioning it here, truth be told.
selling gear to pay the bills ...stinks!
selling gear to pay the bills ...stinks!
Job lost to downsizing, IRS trouble, becoming propietary parent of my two children (best thing in the universe!), paying for my school, etc. have all conspired to put me in a nasty pinch here at the end of the year. I know a few others here who have had equally nasty fortune this year. But..........2010 is looking bright!

I feel for you, I REALLY do. I'm right there with you. I've had to sell gear in the past for home & family and there isn't a more noble cause that parting with something we love for THOSE we love.
Don't feel cheap, I personally feel horored when someone from our forum family offers first crack.
BEST of luck to you, hopefully 2010 will be a banner year for us all!

Best wishes for prosperity in the new year.
All I wanna do is rock!

Thanks everyone. I have a good job waiting for me (one that perfectly fits my single dad schedule). Just have to finish a class and become licensed with the state. 2010's poised to be great.
Yesterday I was hit with a sudden (and unavoidable) bill which cleaned out my bank account. Now I'm scrambling to pay the mortgage and have a decent Christmas for the kids.

Noel, sorry to hear this. I hope things go very well for you in the new year!
JETGLO should officially be renamed JETGLO ROCKS!

Thanks for the concern.
The Danelectro sold today. I'm sad to see it go as they no longer being made (and it was a GREAT guitar!). It will hurt even more when the Chet Atkins sells (with 45 watchers on the auction and a lowball BIN I'm sure it will go).
Maybe I'll frame this:

Meanwhile 2010 is poised to be quite rewarding. Hopefully this is the home stretch...
