Yeah, I thought 20 installments was going to do it, then I remembered the oiled walnut finish. Next week, DCM for installment 21. And that should do it unless RIC comes up with something new. I didn't have an installment for custom colors (such as my Mink/Berryburst) or some of the one-offs that have slipped out of the factory the last couple of years. Just kept with the official RIC colors. Thanks for the index, Scott.

I guess I'll shelve mine. I was waiting for the final week's color so there wouldn't be a need to edit the original post, which the original poster can't do.

Doesn't seem like we've been at it all that long, 20 weeks. Thanks for the legwork, Scott.

Scott, nice work. Maybe I can incorporate this list into Model Of The Week Thread?
Then it satisfies the members that want access to this list as well as satisfy the members that hate seeing too many topics sticky-ed at the top of the forum.

Joey, a suggestion: Perhaps we could have a separate reference section to include the Model of the Week, Bassic Colors, and Ted's "Anatomy" series. Work it much like the Market Place section wherein there is the sale, on-line, appraisals, and wanted subsections.

Yeah, a reference library would be nice. I'd like to see some similar info on the guitars too...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

That's completely up to Peter. I was thinking that it's possible he could archive the Model of the Week, Bassic Colors, and Ted's "Anatomy" series into a special section.

Maybe toss in the 'girth thread. A one-stop reference for damn near anything you'd want to know about Ric basses.

We'd probably still get the 'what's the difference between a 4001 and 4003' thread, though.

Sorry, didn't mean to step on any toes. At least you went thru the effort to pic them.

No one should feel defeated. No one is stepping on anyone else's toes. A cool effort on the part of both of you.
Great Scott's think alike.
