Harmonic Capo

Post by egosheep »

Anybody have one of these?

The tapping stuff doesn't really interest me, but it seems like there could be some cool applications that aren't really touched on in the video demo. I like gadgets if they are useful, but I don't want a gimmick. What do you all think?

Tough to tell how gimmicky it would wind up being ... I guess it would depend on one's own individual style of playing whether it would be very useful or just a novelty.

That is very cool. Somewhat limiting by its very nature I would think, but it may prove to be a very interesting addition to a soundscape just the same. Only $34.95 too. :)

Cool, but I don't think I'd have much use for it on a bass...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

This looks cool. I think once the Christmas toy embargo is removed (I get completely shut down after Thanksgiving by my CFO :) ), I might invest in one of these. I can envision several applications for my acoustic noodlings...

Interesting gizzmo, agreed. But I think I'll take a pass on it. I don't think it would have much of a serious application for the music I'm playing right now. It would be more of an idle curiosity in my hands.
