fThanks to Joey and everybody!
Had a nice lunch with my wife and some friends, and then went out of town to do a live sound mixing gig! Didn’t get home until this morning. It was a fun work trip.
Jeff, no dim sum (hard to find good ones in Beijing), and guess what, it was the spicey fuzzy hot pot again!
No time for a cake though, but I did get some lovely presents including a t-shirt with a 4003 on it.

And 2 fascinating books!

I've never seen Robby The Robot with a 4003 before!

Happy birthday, fellow Sagittarian! Love that T-shirt! Where in the world did you (or your gifter) get it?
Re: Happy Birthday Paul Yan
Thanks again, everybody!
Jeff, will definitely get dim sum for my next birthday! Dim sum, and Cantonese cuisine, ranks among my top 3 Chinese schools of cooking . The name“Li Wah”sure sounds authentic Cantonese, with a good old tradition!

Mark, a guitar tech friend got it for me. As far as I know, the t-shirt was a 2009 touring merchandise of a Taiwanese band, May Day. I actually met their bassist with his 4003 JG in 2003. He asked me how to use the Rick-O-Sound jack. Before that, he'd innocently plugged 2 cables to both sockets! I told him to use the stereo-to-dual-mono Y cord. He was most likely the one who suggested a 4003 JG on the t-shirt.
Re: Happy Birthday Paul Yan
Nice! Do they have any left? I'd like to buy one!
Re: Happy Birthday Paul Yan
I'll try to see if I can get any, Mark. Stay tuned.
