Fair Price for New 360

Post by jbrando »

I am considering picking up a new 360 (MG) to match my MG 4003. As we all know, dealers don't list RIC sale prices and I'm a bass guy, so I have no idea what's fair for new RIC guitars. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks!

Your best bet would be to call some authorized Rickenbacker dealers, such as Pick Of The Ricks, North Coast Music and The Rickenbacker Page (among others) and request a price quote.

Musician's Friend and North Coast Music both have automated e-mail setups that will send you a price quote on a Rick immediately if you click on the appropriate link on their web site, even though they can't post the prices directly.

Thanks. I was hoping to get an idea of what forumites think is fair so I can arm myself with some knowledge when I request price quotes. I've seen dealers' prices run the gamut. In my limited search, I've seen one dealer listing for $2300, one for $1600. Pretty big difference there. I guess I have some due diligence to conduct.

Get price quotes from several, and pick the one you want. You stated that you want a new one, so you'll have to order from a authorized dealer for the warranty to be valid.

Hey John.....I would think $1600 for a brand new 360 would be pretty a good price....conversely $2300
is a bit much. You MIGHT be able to hunt around and find a dealer willing to go something like $1579
but I doubt you'll find much lower.
