greetings once again history students ! this site keeps pulling mammaries out of my brain. when i lived in moncton, my basement wall had various pics from mags and posters on it. one of these mag pics was a shot of prakash john from the welcome to my nightmare phase of alice cooper. not personally visually recognizing the year of the mapleglo deluxe rick he was playing, the article stated that it was a '69 4001 that "was a dog" so he had other pickups installed in it. i remember the bass in the pic had pickups from the fretboard to the bridge...i mean a ton of them and a badarse bridge i believe. might have been guitar player or creem magazine...i don't know. since he was talking about technical things, perhaps it was in guitar player. any one recollect seeing this bass ??? i'm looking to see if i still have the pic somewhere. (i was watching an alice docu tonite...that what made my brain go, ding !)

here's the black widow you tube vid from the welcome to my nightmare movie. the rick is there, but you really have to look for in in the duelling guitar solos. has a haunting springy auditorium sound.

he's using it in mono, looks like a possible horseshoe p/u...i see a division in the chrome, and his strap is connected to the neck heel area instead of the upper horn. anyone find any better frontal pics ?
