Anybody ever use one of these? What was your experience like?

Jim, I picked up an Audio Kontrol 1. Took some time getting use to it - dealing with software and plug-ins, etc. Once you get the hang of it it's pretty powerful however. Still working out the bugs but I think I'm going to like it... Way more versatile than a portastudio (which I'm use to) type set-up IMO.

Hi Jim,

FWIW, I picked up a TASCAM Track Pack X2, which has a US-122 mk II Audio/Midi interface, a large condenser mic, mini tripod, XLR cable and Cubase LE4 software bundle. The unit looks the same as the one in your pic, except the case is black.

I haven't played with it yet, but it seems like a pretty good unit.

The whole thing was 200 scoots.

Price sounds good. Post a note about your experiences using the package, if you would, please. Better yet, post a link to sound sample if you could.
