Beatles Stones

Post by jcreasy »

I know Stones were not Rick artists but Beatles were. There is an interesting post on FoxNews right now (Sunday AM EST) about rare and previously unseen photographs taken by the US Tour Manger for the Beatles and Stones first US Tours. There will be a showing in NYC.

I thought most of you folks would want to at least read the story. I wish I could go see them but I don't have the coin to fly to NYC like that. Looks pretty cool.

Feel free to cut and paste this post wherever it will get the most traffic. This is something some of us would not want to miss.

Take it easy,

They showed some samples on Yahoo News too. I particularly like the one of John in JFK Stadium locker room, but all the samples were very exciting to see. This is going to be a fantastic show; wish I was able to see it. Guess I'll have to wait for the coffee-table book 8)

Unfortunately, most of those darn coffee table books cost close to the flight to go see them in person  :(

If it's of the Stones' first tour, very doubtful.

Here are a number of pics with Brian and his various Ricks. These shots are from this very site.

I thought this thread was going to be about some stones you found in a river that looked like The Beatles.

According to an article in Beat Instrumental the Ricks that Brian used were purchased by Keith on a U.S. tour/visit in 1965.
