I've recently made some truss rod adjustments to accomodate new strings. My question relates to getting the neck dead flat as recommended by RIC. I've adjusted both rods equally and noticed (after a few days) that the bass side is perfect, but the treble side has more relief. Should I:
1. Take some tension off the bass side and add some to the treble side?
2. Only add tension to the treble side leaving the bass side alone?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks, Paul. Would you say 1/8 of a turn each would be sufficient?paul_yan wrote:Welcome to the forum, John.

Re: Adjustment Advice
Absolutely. a 1/8 turn makes a big difference.
In fact, I'd recommend 1/16 turn at a time, wait for a couple of hours, and then see if you need to do it again.
