Putting cases on top of a Ric case?

Post by kingblud »

Would there be any harm in putting another guitar case on top of a Ric 330 hardshell case? I would specifically be thinking of putting a Strat in a gig bag on top, not another huge hardshell case. Does anyone have experience or thoughts on this? thanks!!

I can't imagine putting a strat in a gig bag on top of a hardcase causing a problem.

No, no problem whatsoever. If there was, your hardshell case would be pretty worthless, wouldn't it?

Well, I'm "sort-of back" as it will take a lot of time to recover from the shock of it all. Plus, I finally got the computer back up and running after the hard drive crash that occurred just before the holidays ... :(

Yep, and the old "freeze the hard drive" trick worked to recover all of the important stuff on the old drive.

I have heard of that method. Interesting it is and glad it worked. I have also heard that if you "bake" a video card in an oven for a few minutes it will repair it. Proly reflow the solder connections.

I think I've heard of that trick, but I've not had the occasion to use it.

In a conventional oven, it wouldn't get hot enough to melt the solder.
