Jet City Amps

Post by johneek »

Has anyone ever played one of these? Apparently a new company....Amp design by Michael Soldano...Priced competitively (20W 1x12 combo @ $499 and a 50W 2x12 Combo for $599).

Maybe someone can give one a whirl at NAMM (Booth 5807)and provide a review. Lots of EL-84 and 6L6 amps around, and but I'm curious how they compare to others powered by the same tubes.....

I confess to loving their tag line...."If you wanna play smooth jazz, buy someone else’s amps."

I have a CD for you from Jet City, and a coaster; they say Hi! Jet City is hoping you will put one of their amps on the Moon so that it's full potential can be realized as they are so loud it will sound fantastic from there.  I listened to some shredders play through a couple of them, as with my God-like guitar prowess I did not want to show them up. For Chinese made amps they are well built and will make you sound like (fill in the blank _______________________________with your favorite guitarist).

PM me your address and when I get back home later this week I will send the goodies to you. :)

All fine and dandy, but what would you do with the other 2 strings? :x

Um, I do know what to do with those strings, but that is unsuitable to discuss on this forum.
