Mitch Easter: dynamico

Post by jps »

I have been reading through some back issues of various pro audio magazines a friend gave me and came across an article in ProAudio Review (July 2007!) about Mitch's recording process of this album. Great read. :)

Is there any way to get a link to the article? I can't find one online and I don't see a link on Mitch's website. In searching, I did find this article on the recording of S.Central Rain. Good stuff! Mitch still needs to write his book.

There's an interview in the Groove Yard section of the forum that I conducted with Mitch two years ago. You may find that interesting also. viewtopic.php?f=47&t=383200&p=459924&hi ... ew#p459924

Mitch is a great person as well as a great musician/songwriter/producer etc.

Given the date of the magazine I am not surprised. You might contact them and see about a reprint or copy of the article. In fact, get the whole magazine, it is very good.

Looks like some new songs on Mitch's myspace: http://www.myspace.com/mitcheasterband

Interesting observation: at the top of his myspace page is an ad for "plenty of fish", which features two "kissing fish" as it's logo. Very similar to the kissing fish on Mitch's famous 330AZ. The work of Mitch or coincidence????
