Heat Wave

Post by cjj »

Well, we're having a heat wave here in Northern Montana. This afternoon, around 4PM, we were all the way up to 5F, then when I went out to feed the animals around 5PM, we were up to about 10. Right now, it's 34F yeah, that's right, no minus sign in front of that! First time we've been above freezing in 2 months. Heck it's the first time we've been above 20F in two months...

Now, where did I put those shorts...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Got all the way up to 38F last night, then down to 26. Quite a change since the morning started out at -24F (-31C). I don't think it's a hint of spring though, we've still got a couple of months of cold ahead. The record for this area was in early Feb, -56F

I'm assuming you mean -8C, which we often don't reach as a high this time of year. Pretty picture!

Just in case anyone's wondering about my current avatar, that's where I wish I was instead of here in this frozen wasteland... :(

I like those pics Scotty!

It was about 77° Fahrenheit here yesterday, probably about the same today.

+1, and unlike in past weeks, the temperature didn't dip down into the 40s last night after the nice warm day!

Where are my shades? 8)

I feel for you guys in those Great White North Parts; here in CA the snow's something we goto after a 2-4 hour drive up to the mountains. It doesn't come to us.

It's all the way up to 39°F here, considering it was 21° at 7:00 a.m.

As of today, it's looking like low 70's and sunny, so I'm positive that you can leave your parka in Cleveland. Maybe you'll wanna leave at the airport waiting for you for when you get back home.

Are you like the weatherman in L.A. Story?

Our plan is to leave the coats in the car at the airport, but coming home they will be awfully cold! A locker may be a better idea.

I'm more concerned about you going through withdrawals on the airplane from not being able to post on the forum.
