Real or fake TRC???

Post by jaseandwave »

This is on ebay ... What do you all reckon?

I've a 79 Jetglo 4001. When I bought it (about 15 years ago) it had a black TRC and a chrome scratchplate - so obviously somebody had messed around with it a bit. It's got white binding so as I understand it - it should have white scratchplate and TRC.

I bought a white scratchplate and am after a white TRC but there are so many dodgy ones about.

Looks OK to me. If it's on ebay, form gibsondependable, it's likely OK, he buys Ricks and strips them, selling the parts.
Oh, I see, it's the mesamagnet one, that one looks legit...

It's real. It will likely go at current market value and yes sometimes that is a crazy number.

$100-150 probably. We'll know in 3 days 13 hours...
