Post your 4001 C64 and C64S Soundbites

Post by paul_yan »

Guys and Gals,

A friend who was interested in getting a 4001 C64 asked me how I would describe the playability and sound of the 4001 C64 and C64S. I could tell him everything I knew about the history, construction, and materials used for these 2 models but I couldn't help him with anything informative regarding what they sounded like!!! :( Couldn't even tell him if there was any sonic differences between the C64 and the C64S! I myself had been wanting to find out too.

So please post links to your recordings of your C64 or C64S if you've got any. Would be even better if you could comment on the playbility and feel compared to your 4001 and 4003 basses.

Thanks in advance, guys! :D

Sounds interesting,
actually I think why not also compairing the 4001v63 to the c64, I have read a lot about these sounds difference, yet never really managed to found a real side to side comparison.

cheers,
P
