He Was a Freind of Mine

The guitar Roger used in the original recording of He was a Friend of Mine, was it Crosby's D-18 6 string before it was converted to a 12? I could never determine if the song was played with a 6 or 12.

Hi:

I remember reading once, years ago, that he had a Martin 12-string-- a D 12-35 :D
