Unusual combination

Post by BobKat »

This guitar has a CNC-cut body (you can tell by the upper horn) but has a narrow "skunk stripe" in the neck and the Schaller "script logo" tuners. I have onky ever seen those tuners on model year 1995 guitars, and i have only ever seen CNC-cut bodies with the neck with the wider skunk stripe. I have always thought that they went back to the wider stripe at the same time as they went CNC. So this guitar, to my mind, is a bit of an oddball. I bet just about anything it's a 1995 or early 1996.
